Faux Leather Leggings, Over 50 Style

How I Style Faux Leather Leggings

I’m seeing faux leather leggings all over the place this fall! This was a trend that I first noticed last year, but at almost 60, wasn’t sure I could pull them off. But this year I see alot of 50+ and 60+ bloggers wearing them. The trick is knowing how to wear them.

For this outfit, I chose to wear a long grey v-neck tunic. I wanted to make sure it was long enough to cover my bottom, because I don’t want to look like I’m trying too hard. This soft v-neck tunic sweater is from Nordstrom. I’ve linked the exact sweater below. This runs very large. I ordered my usual size, medium, and it is still too big, I could have used a small. I would suggested sizing down in this and it will still be roomy.

I tried leggings from a couple different retailers that I often buy from, and sent them back. One pair was way too tight; the other pair was very thick and too big. Believe it or not, these are from Amazon, and I love them. They fit perfectly. I think they were only $15.99. The exact link is below.

I own alot of neutral color clothing – greys, blacks and whites, so I like to add a pop of color to keep my outfit from looking too drab. I added this black and burgundy floral scarf from White House Black Market. This one’s not available anymore, but I have linked some similar scarves below. I added my cherry red handbag for another pop of color. I’ve linked a couple cute red handbags below.

My grey open toe booties are from a local boutique, and I don’t see them online, but I have linked three cute pair below.

Thanks for reading! I hope I have given you some inspiration! I love to hear from you! If you have any questions or comments, please be sure to comment below. Have a great week!
