Dark Wash Jeans, Rachel Roy Tunic

Rachel Roy Spring Outfit

Hello friends! I have a busy week planned this week. My daughter is graduating from the University of Montana School of Pharmacy on Saturday, and my mom and stepdad are traveling from Minnesota for the celebration. I’ve been cleaning like crazy! Ha. Do any of you do that when your Mom visits? As I write this, we’re getting ready to go out and shoot 3 more outfits for the blog. I’m trying to get ahead of the game because I have a busy couple of weeks coming up.

Last weekend we moved my daughter into her new apartment in Great Falls, Montana, which is about 3 hours north of where we live. I’m going to miss her terribly, but she has started her new career as a pharmacist. Until she takes her boards this summer, she works as a pharmacy intern – as soon as she passes the boards she will be a full fledged pharmacist. I am so incredibly proud of her!

I have some other good news as well! My son, daughter in law and grandson have been living in Minnesota for the past 5 years. The good thing about that was that I am from Minnesota, and I travel there to see my mom and sisters once or twice a year, so it worked out well. They have recently decided they want to move back to Montana. And not just Montana, but Anaconda, the town that we live in! They sold their home very quickly, and should be her permenantly this September. I am thrilled beyond belief to have them this close to us. They are looking at a home just a few blocks away from us and it will be so nice to have them close!

We had a beautiful day to shoot this white raw hemmed Rachel Roy tunic. This was purchased last summer at Macy’s. Rachel Roy designs a line of clothing specifically for Macy’s, and I love the pieces. I couldn’t find this online anywhere, so I have linked three similar white tunics here, here and here.

It’s very form fitting, so I wore a pair of thick black leggings (link here) from Nordstrom. These Hue leggings are my favorite. They are nice and thick and very comfortable.

My necklace is old from White House Black Market. I wear this necklace alot in the spring and summer with my white tops. It was windy out that day! I can’t find this necklace, but here and here are a couple cute necklaces that would work.

My leopard handbag is from Nordstrom. Here is the link. My open toe booties are from Dillard’s last year. They aren’t available anymore, but click here and here for similar booties.

Have a wonderful week! You can also follow me on Instagram @gracefullystyledmontana where I post my outfit of the day.

    1. Thanks, Cheryl – yes I think we are in similar climates. Summers are short here, but when we get them they are heavenly, aren’t they!
